City of fallen angels

By Cassandra Clare

Jace is having nightmares. Every time he falls asleep, he kills Clary, and there is nothing he can do to stop himself. His first impulse is to avoid Clary at all cost; to do that he becomes Simon’s shadow. Someone is trying to kill Simon, and so far the Mark of Cain has protected him, but who—or what—is behind the effort? Simon has another “bodyguard” in his new roommate, Kyle. Kyle appeared seemingly out of nowhere, but his presence at Simon’s side is definitely not an accident. Between Kyle and Jace, Simon is covered from attack by unknown enemies, but it is the two girls he is dating that he might actually need protection from.
