To combat growing insurrection, the United Nations Space Command creates Spartan II, a super-soldier program using seventy-five children abducted from their homes and sent to Reach for training. Among these is a six-year-old boy named John, who will rise above the rest due to superior speed, intelligence, and adaptability to become the galaxy’s most legendary warrior.
